Neighborhood 2008 Fall/Winter Collection November Releases

Neighborhood’s routine drops have always provided many much anticipated items. The outerwear capsule seen here offers some easy to wear styles with a good diverse selection of materials.

C-Law x Addict Epic Jacket

This jacket caught my eye for its simplicity in nature, yet the unknowingly number of features the jacket includes. The Nextec Epic cotton provides the nice casual look of cotton without the sometimes overbearing aesthetic associated with performance fabrics. With it, the jacket brings breathability, water repellancy and windproofing into one neat package. On top of that, the cotton is produced in a sustainable manner to reduce environmental waste and harm.

Nike x UNDFTD Billboard Project – Neil Leifer

With UNDFTD’s strong sporting-related background, their ongoing billboard project hasn’t yielded too many athletic themed boards. However with the impending team-up with sports photographer Neil Leifer, look for the iconic billboard above UNDFTD La Brea to enjoy three new pieces. Provides a nice relevant artist to match up with UNDFTD.

Visvim Oiled Wallet-2

Each season, Visvim’s catalog has provided a great deal of education regarding collection themes and material production alongside the awesome presentation of the season’s products. In their 2008 fall/winter catalog, aside from discussions regarding footwear, Visvim founder Hiroki Nakamura touches extensively on the process of veggie tanning. He goes on to list the pros/cons of the process and while conceding the inefficient process of this method, he ultimately chooses to utilize the veggie-tanned route for its beautiful aging properties. The zipper style itself is perhaps not exactly revolutionary, but the leather itself sets up for a great deal of user-input to achieve a personalized finished product.

Etnies Plus Buster Model

Having been a big fan of the Etnies Plus collection, seems as they’ve switched it up with the Buster with a mature and refined color selection. However, I do sort of feel this offering isn’t something that I’d immediately associate with Etnies + but rather a different brand.

The Award Tour 2008 Fall/Winter Lookbook

Another dope lookbook, on a similar tip to the Second Son style which presents an ironic setting as the backdrop.

Mishka NYC 2009 Calendar by Ellen Stagg

Mishka always has something crazy up their sleeve and this ranks up there with one of the most memorable photographic collaborations. The selection of models probably requires you to do some homework/legwork to see them in their finer moments, but nevertheless, the aesthetics are something authentically Mishka.

Barney’s New York Artisan Day – Rogues Gallery

These types of workshop events are a great way for brands to communicate their well-known skills and talents of their brand through an authentic and educational session. You see exactly what is needed to put together the very jacket or t-shirt you may be wearing at any given moment. Much like the similar Nike Sportswear initiated workshops with The Beautiful Losers, this is something I’d definitely like to see more often.

F-Troupe D-Division Woven Slip-On

I’m pretty sure the Bottega Veneta joints are many times more expensive then these, however these are just as good. To delve further, the F-Troupe D-Division slip-ons feature an arguably better material choice with the use of suede which I feel achieves a better look then the usual leather woven patterns.

Arkitip Chronicles with James Bond of UNDFTD

A look into the less-often seen but integral part of UNDFTD, James Bond. Some worthy insights from an articulate man who has helped creat one of the industries heavyweight brands.
