With the handful of releases for the Air Force 1’s 25th Anniversary last year, different tiers were created to distinguish the releases of varying quality and quantity. Despite the large price tags coupled with less then stellar designs with earlier Air Force 1 Supreme releases, it seems that recent drops have had a redeeming quality. Here’s a look at some tonal models in Army Green and Obsidian, each with their premium materials and visible air unit. Although these are currently available in parts of Asia, an official US release date is set for March.

Nike’s been pushing the vintage/distressed/pre-used angle pretty hard as of late. Although most might have second thoughts when popular releases such as the Dunk gets the aforementioned treatment, something about old back-catalog models rarely seen in a pristine new condition make for an acceptable base for these aging treatments. Looking to brands of the OG era, British label Addict hooked up with XLarge as part of Addict’s “Originators Series”. Aside from XLarge, other contributing brands include FUCT, Freshjive and Grave One. Each brand lent a classic graphic for the Addict mashup.
