The Vault series from Vans has recently been unveiled. The broad collection for 2008 Spring/Summer finds it’s inspiration from nature, art and Van’s own roots of surf and skate. These themes are intermingled with simplistic designs and designer fabrics which compliment each other. A full preview can be seen here.
To celebrate mastermind Japan’s 10 year anniversary, they teamed up with well known Japanese toymakers Bandai to produce an insanely expensive mastermind Japan x Bandai figure. Recently unveiled as part of the collaboration are two t-shirts featuring glitter print on a black body. No word on availability.

From the mountain sides to the streets, the classic mountaineering boot has become a popular choice of footwear around the world. Many reappropriated versions are much more aesthetically driven than functional with Ubiq offering it’s own traditional approach with their Carphill boot. On the heels of photographer Boogie’s Best Photography Book of 2006 as judged by Photo District News comes another 120 page book of photography from the transported Belgrade resident. This self-titled book Boogie captures the same essence and raw emotion which has made Boogie such a popular figure. Paris’ Colette will be exhibiting some of Boogie’s latest works under the artistic direction of Giorgio de Mitri (Sartoria) starting January 7th until January 25th. The book is currently available for purchase of $200 USD through powerHouse Books.
