Emerging from the Orange County comes Franco Shade. Memorable brands such as LRG, Obey and Stüssy have all originated from the OC, with Franco Shade looking to do the same and cement their place in the world of street wear. From their humble beginnings as a garage-run label, bit by bit Franco Shade were able to overcome obstacles and barriers and firmly establish their brand identity through consistency and originality.
The 2007 Fall Collection will mark a slight change in design themes as Franco Shade look to form a collection based more around black and white with brightly colored accents. They feel this enables their pieces to be best highlighted. Evidentially they have achieved their goal, as many of the items you see revolve around design and cut as the main focus. Check your local Franco Shade dealer as this latest collection should hit stores within the next 10 days or so.

Nike ACG is the midst of releasing revamping the Wildedge GTX. The Wildedge is a relatively new model, inspired by the vintage classic Wildwood from Nike ACG. What differs from previous Wildedges is the re-designed upper with a screen printed Swoosh as opposed to the customary embroidered Swoosh. This is put together with an XCR (Extended Comfort Range) upper which completes this high-tech package. The sole is that of 0.44 sticky rubber compound seen on various Nike ACG models such as the Soaker.
