Toy-designer and illustrator James Jarvis recently produced two designs for Alakazam. Alakazam are into their third season under the watchful guidance of Will Sweeney. Both Will Sweeney and James Jarvis have previously had connections together with Silas. Available for sale now at Alakazam’s online store.

These upcoming Nike Dunk CLs feature a nice and clean colorway however some of the attention may be inadvertently shifted to the mid-sole. The interesting mid-sole concept features an extremely texturized and rough surface. It’s almost as though somebody wore these Dunks through some fresh black cement and had the remnants dry. Some accented laces finish off the package. No word yet on a release date.
What happens when some of the most talented artists and graphic designers in the world work with the Parisian store Colette? The result is a collection of vinyls called Curated by Colette. Ten artists and graphic designers including André, So-Me, Work in Progress, +41, Grey Foley and Fabien Baron, KAWS, Jeremy Scott, and Nagi Noda have each designed their own rendition of a special vinyl which will be sold exclusively at the Colette store in France. Only 500 copies of each are produced and they are now available at Colette and Sold Out.
San Francisco label Red Clay has recently hit stores around the world with their 2007 Fall Collection. Inspired in part by the 1920s and 1930s Art Deco design movement, this line offers up an interesting array of designs which features the use of crystalline and jumbled shapes.

MESS out of Beijing are set to release their first series of New Era 59FIFTY fitted caps. Two caps were created, however the white one was produced strictly as a friends & family only release limited to 30 caps. The cap itself was themed after Chinese history. The front embroidery represents prosperity, fortune and luck. The side embroidery features two overlapping coins. These style of coins were the common currency in the past China. The silk underbill references China’s history with silk and the Silk Road. Available on October 1st, the National Day in China.
To coincide with photographer Shawn Mortensen’s book Out of Mind, legendary label FUCT are set to release two t-shirts. Over his illustrious career, Shawn Mortensen has had an innate ability to photograph some of our generation’s greatest performers in some of their best light. The two shirts seen here include Snoop Dogg & Notorious B.I.G, both taken back in the early 1990s. To get a more in-depth look at some of Shawn Mortensen’s works, check out The Hundreds store at the beginning of November as his works go on display. These limited t-shirts will release October 1st at select FUCT dealers.

Japanese toymaker Medicom has unveiled a look into their upcoming set of Bearbrick collaborations. Among the preview of co-branded Bearbricks you will find a pair of Juventus FC 100% Bearbricks, 100% 10th Anniversary Tonibrick, a pair of 100% Appleseed Ex Machina Bearbricks, two 25th Anniversary Fumiya Fuji 100% Bearbricks and a 400% glow in the dark Nort Bearbrick designed by Stash. Rounding out the releases are a second round of 100% Transformer Bearbricks and the seasonal release of 100% Christmas Bearbricks. Stay tuned for more details and release dates.
