Timbuk2 started out in San Francisco in 1989 making messenger bags for bicycle messengers and cycling enthusiasts. They have recently created a limited edition line of messenger bags designed by graphic designer based out of SF, Benny Gold. This design, which is available in two colorways, feature a special bicycle chain plaid pattern. Started by Shawn Stussy in 1980, the brand Stussy has had a long history in making streetwear. Stussy has grown from selling t-shirts in Laguna Beach to being a globally recognized brand that is sold at over sixty stores worldwide. Recently we gave a preview of their 2007 Fall Collection and now, here’s a look at some special items made in conjunction with Rob Abeyta Jr. and Hyde S.K. Available now at Stussy Direct. About Rob Abeyta Jr. Rob Abeyta Jr., art director of 72andSunny and previously the art direct at Nike is a renowned artist and designer. His past work includes projects with Girl Skateboard, Nike, Stussy and more. You can find more information about Rob Abeyta here. About Hyde S.K Hyde S.K is a bag and accessory label created by designer Sacha Knight. The name Hyde S.K comes from Sacha’s first collection which was solely created using Hide (leather) and Sacha Knight’s initials. Sacha started off making hand made bags for Paul Smith men’s fashion show which were sold in limited quantities in Japan and London. Sacha has also designed bags and accessories for Jessica Ogden and Silas. Her well crafted items has gain global recognition ever since she started and many of her items have now become collectibles where customers (especially Japan) will line up to buy her limited edition items.

5050 x Vans Half Cab

UK skate shop 5050 turns the big ten-o this year and to mark the occasion, 5050 have gotten together with Vans to create a special limited edition Half Cab. The black and blue Half Cab is just part of the celebrations as the RBK/DGK team will also be on hand to demo. 197 pairs will release in-store on August 24th, with online sales commencing the next day at the 5050 online store.

Batman x Ubiq Fatima

Japanese footwear brand Ubiq has successfully teamed up with Warner Brothers to create two limited edition Batman sneakers using their faithful Fatima model as the base sneaker. Both models include collages of vintage Batman comics in color and in black & white. The shoes come packaged in a special see through box and is heavily decorated with Batman comics. These will release on August 31st at 10:00AM (Japan time) on Zozotown. Price is set at 16,800 Yen (approximately $147 USD).
