A series of sneakers were created for Nike’s upcoming Tech Park designed by Michael Leon and Jarrett Reynolds. The Tech Pack was created under the pretense of offering a more refined and sophisticated look while incorporating some of Nike’s technologically advanced materials and construction techniques. The Air Rhyolite and Okwahn are the final pieces to the Tech Pack puzzle. It must be noted that the Tech Pack footwear component was never created as an after thought, but rather the whole Tech Pack was a collaborative effort that encompassed both apparel and footwear under one design theme.
The Nike Tech Pack Air Rhyolite boot was an original ACG (All Conditions Gear) release. Considered to be one of the most technologically advanced boots of it’s generation, it’s durability and quality made an easy transition to the urban jungle. The Air Rhyolite will be available in Black/Varsity Purple and Umber/Black-Sail.
The Okwahn bouldering shoe that has been recently reintroduced. A rugged design is softened by a low profile design. The Okwahn, much like the Rhyolite boot will also be available in Black/Varsity Purple and Umber/Black-Sail.
The release of the Rhyolite and Okwahn are complimented by three upcoming colorways of the Tech Pack Air Max 90.
