Fragment Design (headed by Hiroshi Fujiwara) and Head Porter has collaborated with actor Jack Heller (according to EDC) to create a collection of three Head Porter Black Beauty iPhone cases. We’re unsure about the relationship between Jack Heller & Hiroshi Fujiwara but for those looking for a simple case that won’t ruin the plain naked aesthetic of the iPhone, these are a good choice. As previously mentioned, there is definitely no shortage of options when it comes to protecting your precious iPhone. No word yet on a release date or the availability of these cases.

In a true story of coincidence, Michael Davis of mid 1960’s Detroit’s rock band MC5 stumbled upon their reinterpreted White Panther logo on a pair of Obey jeans his son had just purchased. MC5, perhaps best known for paving the way for punk later had Michael Davis contact Obey to create a legitimate partnership and create this latest collection. No hard feelings though as both parties shared a mutual respect for one another. The collection features an M-65 jacket, a t-shirt and a cap. No word yet on a release date.

Saturday, July 28, marks the release of the first of many HUF x KICKS/HI collaborative efforts. This cap is similar to the previously released Sig Zane x KICKS/HI New Era in that they are both cut from a large sheet of fabric, meaning each panel will be different. Basically, each and every cap is original, unique, one of a kind! Get prepared, because KICKS/HI will be releasing this awesome cap at their Makaloa location promptly at 11:00 am this Saturday, July 28, 2007.
