Evan Hecox LA Blacksun Print Version II

Designer/Illustrator Evan Hecox (who designed a Stan Smith for adidas Skateboarding) and magazine Arkitip have recently released Hecox’s LA Blacksun Print Version II which is a follow up to the LA Blacksun Print Version I. This 16 in. x 20 in. print is silk screened on acid free uncoated paper. Only 100 prints will be made available, each signed and numbered by Evan Hecox himself. The print can be purchased here.

Tim Blanks from Men.Style.Com recently did a tour of some Japan and visited some of the most popular shops and boutiques in Tokyo. Along the way, he managed stops at Number (N)ine, United Arrows, Bapexclusive, Icho (Bespoke Tailor), N.Hoolywood and Project 1/6 (Medicom Flagship Store). Some of the most interesting points we found were that although some of the stores sold different genres of clothing, we felt as though genres and classes itself didn’t really exist. The blurring of the lines in our opinion create for a much more diverse fashion sense. Check out the videos after the jump.

Although this isn’t his first collection with Fossil, this latest release features a distinctly different styling from his previous watches with Fossil. Nike’s latest Flannel Pack has just made it’s way onto store shelves. The pack is comprised of an Air Max 90, an Air Stab and two Court Forces Highs. Although the pack features flannel as the focal point, each sneaker itself is mixed bag of different materials including leather, woven leather, suede and corduroy. Many of the sneakers share the same fluorescent accents set against earthy tones. Available now at Overkill Berlin.

Levi’s Japan’s sub-brand FLU has recently released some new technical jeans that emphasizes on safety and comfort in their designs. The line is highlighted by some features rarely seen on denim which includes 3M reflective piping as well as quick drying denim fabric. These will be available at Tab Device in Japan and retails from around 23,100 to 29,400 Yen.

JB Classics has just put up a preview of their new Peddler Hexell model which comes in a bright and vibrant green and gold colorway. The gold forefront and mid looks great against the green heel. Of course the return of the Aunt Tub (of Hexel) inspired hexagonal pattern is what inspired the sneaker. No word yet on release dates yet.
