Medicom Toy has recently updated its Bearbrick Series 14 collection with some items that are set to be released in the upcoming months. Among the most notable pieces are the Transformers 2-pack 100%, the FC Barcelona Asian Tour 100%, Nitraid x Bearbrick 100%, Jwyed (Jewelery makers) x Bearbrick 100% & 400% and Halloween 2007 100% & 400% figures. Japanese toy makers Secret Base has teamed up with Kinetics to create this Batman inspired Shadow T-shirt. The iconic bat symbol on the chest takes a more angular approach to reflect the early stages of Batman. The shoulders each contain Secret Base and Kinetics logos respectively, with a Kinetics&Catalysis statement on the back. The t-shirt is available in green, pink, white and yellow Bat symbols. Available now at Chapter World.
In alliance with the store Shotgun, Umbro by Kim Jones have offered their latest models for early sale at Shotgun. Models such as the Canvas, Runners, Mork and Mindy’s will be available starting Thursday. For those unfamiliar, Shotgun allows buyers to get exclusive goods before the they hit store shelves.
Here’s a little follow-up in regards to the Fanatic VI soccer tournament hosted by adidas that took place in New York last weekend. Team Syrup Kidz took home this year’s trophy which aside from a year’s worth of bragging rights also included tickets to Beckham’s Broadway debut August 17th, a trip to adiCup LA 2008 and adidas’ top of the line soccer boots.
At the recent Pirates Utopia Exhibition, Blag Magazine has created a short film documenting the two featured artists, José Parlá & Futura. The film features everything from personal commentary regarding the recent terrorist attacks in the UK (around the same time as their arrivals in the UK) as well as their methods and themes behind the pieces they displayed at the exhibition. Japanese brand Hakkin has teamed up with Puma to release two womens First Round models. Best known for their handbag design, these Orobianco First Rounds feature premium quilted leather uppers and gold accents. This release will be limited to Asia only.

Devilock recently offered buyers a look at their upcoming Winter 2007 line up. Among the pieces seen here are a few designs featuring Devilock’s iconic Palmboy mascot. News has leaked regarding an upcoming children’s Devilock line as well. Watch for Devilock to enter the housewares segment much like many other Japanese brands have done with the release of their own candles.

A.L.I.E.N. recently gave a preview of their upcoming line of accessories for Fall/Winter 2007 at the United Tradeshow which wraps up today. The collection includes sets of matching phone holders and duffel bags in some eye catching colors and patterns such as gold snakeskin and black crocskin. Also previewed are some upcoming beanies as well.

Skate brand DC Shoes has hit up two big time boutiques, Brooklyn Projects and Commonwealth, to release two packs of sneakers. Each boutique was given the opportunity to design two different colorways for their respective models. The Brooklyn Projects Voltron models include a gray/red and black/blue colorway which feature multi-material uppers such as patent and crocodile patent. The insole is monogrammed with the Brooklyn Projects logo. On the other hand, Commonwealth chose the canvas Gatsby shoe to create an all-over upper in red and black. The tab along the outstep features a Commonwealth tag as opposed to the DC tag seen on the general release version of the Gatsby. No word yet on the release date.
