During last year’s Emerica Wild Ride across the heart of the United States, long-time Emerica sponsored rider and photographer Ed Templeton took a series of photographs. The photographs would go on to grace the pages of his latest book created in conjunction with Emerica, “Nobody Living Can Ever Make Me Turn Back”. Part of Emerica’s Gold Thread division, this print will be bound only 2,500 times and available worldwide at only the finest skate shops. Coincidentally, this book isn’t Templeton’s first foray into print, previous winning a $50,000 Italian art contest for his book “Teenage Smoker Series”.
A collaboration between Visvim and Nike? Think again. This pair of sneaker is actually a custom by sneaker customizer Nash. Nash took the upper of the Visvim FBT and combined it with the Nike 360 sole which is just nuts.

As heavy duty as this Visvim 7HOLE boot looks like, it’s actually quite lightweight. Visvim has taken the worker boot and transformed it into a comfortable and casual shoe. Like other Visvim shoe, the midsole uses the EVA cushioning technology for good support. The Visvim 7HOLE comes in four colors: black, brown, sand and tan. They will retail for 31,290 Yen and will be available at Honeyee store.

During the infancy stages of footwear company, Vans, it was not uncommon for Vans to create special custom shoes via customer request. Provision of your desired material was all that was needed to get that special 1 of 1 pair of slip ons to call your own. Back in 1965, Paul Van Doren (founder of Vans) met the very first Surfing Hall of Fame inductee, Duke Kahanamoku. Duke requested his very own pair of slip ons created with an iconic Hawaiian floral print. Now, Vans has re-released these slip-ons which signify a reissue of one of Vans’ important moments in history. Duke markings include a special logo on the heel, a printed insole “The Official Duke Kahanamoku Surfers” and a special box. The sneakers are available in green, red and black.
Also releasing is an upcoming Vans Warped Tour Old Skool in black/white and black/black. Since 1995, the Vans Warped Tour has been one of the biggest and most successful touring music shows in the world. The midsole features a printed Vans Warp Tour ‘07 logo throughout.

The outlook on women’s sneakers (rightfully so) has been becoming brighter and brighter. Look for these fresh upcoming white Nike Free Footscapes on the feet of the ladies in the near future. The use of the Free midsole actually offers a better package in our opinion due to the sleeker look then the conventional Footscape midsole. The thick striped lining and the tasseled laces are a nice touch in completing the package.
