This upcoming Friday, June 8th, the doors will open at The Hundreds store on Rosewood to mark the release of their latest collaboration with half store/half art gallery, Us Versus Them. Both stores will see the release of a black version, while The Hundreds will receive a Caribbean Blue color and Versus’ will receive the Heather Grey.
The motif of the shirt features an old school World War II cartoon character featured in propaganda posters created by Walt Disney. The original theme was to represent the job-hopping done by people and how this was detrimental to the war effort due to the lost productivity. Fast forward over 50 years later, and this theme still bears some relevance from a different light. Large corporations enter into various subcultures and essentially throw a lot of money into it just for it to crash and burn at a later date.

The Hundreds latest Chronicle takes them through an interview with artist Slick from Dissizit. The feature includes not only an interview but a look into some of Slick’s art pieces and some of the latest in upcoming apparel from Slick’s clothing line.

The design team over at New Balance has been putting in some serious work, we see this with these new colorways. These sample 576’s feature a 3M pattern along the toe box and panel and are slated for an early ‘08 release. Photographer Fatsarazzi is set to debut a new show later this month (June 15th) till June 30th. The focus of the show is the environment of Indian culture in a post modernistic view. This is a great opportunity to see the works of Fats Shariff in action.

The season 4 look book off the BBC/IceCream line debuted on-line a few weeks ago, with emphasis on the new clothing, now we show you a new Ice Cream sneaker model that will release this October called the “Lace Up.†The upper sports a waffle/ice cream cone interpretation, done-up on a more classic silhouette than the usual thicked-out skater shoes.
