Roots & Culture - Beware of Immitiation featuring Fatsarazzi

Photographer Fatsarazzi is set to debut a new show later this month (June 15th) till June 30th. The focus of the show is the environment of Indian culture in a post modernistic view. This is a great opportunity to see the works of Fats Shariff in action. “The Mahamaya not only brought authentic Indian cuisine to Berne, but is also highly dedicated (or committed) with a lot of passion to the spread of young and contemporary culture of the Indian Diaspora – which spiritual home is cosmopolitan London. One of the main and important figures of this British Asian culture is the photographer Fats Shariff – more and very well known all over the world under his artist name Fatsarazzi. Before his function as documentalist of the international urban, style and street culture – Fatsarazzi was doing production work for fashion labels such as Maharishi, Lagerfeld Sport, Silas & Maria, & Addict to name a few. His photographs in the exhibition in Berne are showing us a lifestyle between Indian tradition and post-post-modern urban culture.” Milieu Galerie/Artspace Münstergasse 6 3000 Bern 8 info@milieu-digital.com
