Longtime adidas sponsor, Zinedine Zidane and the Adi Dassler Fund have joined forces with the adidas “Right to Play” Red Play Initiative. This program works under the belief that the global game of soccer/football has the power and ability to have a worldwide effect on global society. It’s influence in sport development in many countries can be utilized as a tool in the world’s fight against various problems such as health, schooling and help create long lasting life skills.
Starting June 1st, replica balls will be made for sale at adidas stores in Europe and the US and websites such as adidas and RightToPlay.com in select countries. September 1st will see the program extend into Asia, the Middle East and South Africa. The balls will retail for 5 Euros or $10 USD.
