DC Shoes Life Collection: Mighty Healthy Double Label Project

DC Shoes is embarking on a new venture titled the Life Collection. The theme of this collection can be sought out in fashion, art, and music. The blending of DC’s skate shoe expertise and the themes relevant to the Life Collection in itself represent a step towards DC’s endless goal in the area of footwear innovation. Those familiar with the DC Striker will see a special twist with this Mighty Healthy concoction. The upper of the shoe is faux ostrich skin. A purple sole is rounded off with gold stitching accents. The Mighty Healthy logo can be seen on the tongue, and will be an easy spot for those who like to wear their kicks, tongues out. Mighty Healthy as many of you know has become a mainstay in the scene in the last few years. Created in 2004 by New York natives, Ray Mate and Denis Iderman; Mighty Healthy represented an apparel line that could accurately reflect and portray their personal life and experiences. DC Shoes has actually had quite a bit of experience with collaboration’s. The Double Label Project has been an ongoing project since 2001 and was created to fuse together creative partnerships with influences in and around the skateboard community.
