Reigning Champ made some huge noise this year with an extensive range of fleece items which included crewnecks, hoodies and jackets. Something often dismissed as an urban legend came true yesterday. For years rumors circulated of an intense mural located somewhere in New York’s Soho district encompassing some of graffiti’s hall of fame participants. The mural includes works by Futura 2000, Fab 5 Freddy and a contribution rumored to be that of graffiti/expressionist Jean-Michel Basquiat. The mural could be considered as the beginning of graffiti. Careful procedures are in place to safe keep the work. The building was slated for demolition to make room for new luxury condo’s. The mural will be available for public display as par the retrospective graffiti art movement exhibit titled “The Wild Style Exhibit” starting Thursday.
