For the founders of Underskatement, their indie film festival wasn’t so much about skateboarding as it was about the art and lifestyles of the skating film directors. Without a strict criteria, the only requisite was that filmmakers be skaters themselves and that films be under 7 minutes long. They kicked off Volume 4 earlier this month in San Francisco.
