Masters in their own domain, denim makers Levi’s and sneaker & lifestyle entity Jordan Brand are set to team up on a special collaborative project titled the 23/501 Collection. Not one for many collaborations, Jordan Brand set forth to push the same limits they have continually been setting. The collection will include a pair of 501 denim (Levi’s most iconic model), an Air Jordan I and t-shirt. Each individual piece will posses many dual-branded characteristics. For example, the weft of the jeans will include Jordan Brand’s popular elephant print as well as Jumpman logos and special lining to prevent indigo bleed onto sneakers. The Air Jordan I’s will include a denim upper and Levi’s Red Tab. 2,323 packages will be releases, with each piece individually numbered. The suggested retail price is $395 USD.
