KIKS TYO has just released their "What The KIKS" t-shirt to compliment the recent release of the Nike SB Dunk Low "What The Dunks". The t-shirt integrates direct references from the What The Dunks to recreate the body of each letter. The back of the shirt is printed with the tagline "WHAT THE KIKS!?". Available now at the KIKS TYO international webshop. A select group of international retailers were also provided with no more then 10 pieces and include Solebox, Patta, Fatlace, Qubic, Espionage, Sole What?, Beetle Spoke, LTD EDT, Attitude, Gallery and Angry Daves. Only 200 shirts were printed.
Manhattan Portage has had a long and storied past since 1980 with many innovative features which have integrated itself into the urban bag scene such as single strapped Cordura bags and durable Delrin buckles. Their everyday urban relevance has led to a collaboration with XLarge on their 1610 messenger bag. Integral features include the use of Cordura materials and entirely waterproof inner and 3M accents. Japanese snowboard apparel brand AFDIcegear recently collaborated with label Stüssy to produce a limited run of Gore-Tex Vehicle jackets. The Gore-Tex body is complimented by subtle features such as 3M logos on the sleeve and front. Four different colors are available in black, blue, neon green and neon orange. Available now at Stüssy with a price tag of ¥54,600 (approximately $485 USD).
Japanese footwear brand Cause is set to release their newest style, the Back Zip Boot. The calf high boots utilizes an all suede upper with hints of engineer boot inspiration. A zipper runs along almost the entirety of the back to ensure easy access. A white midsole can also been seen with a black sole. Coming soon to Flauge with a price tag of ¥34,650 (approximately $308 USD).
The latest hybrid concept from New Balance is this mash-up of the H574J. This shoe boast a higher cut, more aggressive tread and some vibrant colorways. Despite the relatively classic design of the 574, this updated design should be fairly competent on the trails. An anticipated release is set for early December. Available at Mita Sneakers.
