Independent sneaker brand JB Classics teamed up with DJ Funkmaster Flex and the inventors of the automobile, Ford. This collaboration took over 3 years of preparation and work to create a very special triple label product. The end results include the JB Getlo – FMF Model (DJ Funkmaster Flex) and JB Getlo – Ford Motors | FMF Model. The JB Getlo – FMF Model will be released at only a select few shops around the world, MOE’s Sneaker Boutique, DEEP STORE, Qubic, Overkill, Garage and online at Pick Your Shoes. FUCT represents a brand that has been around as long as any yet still manage to change up the scene with each collection. Their latest BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) collection revolves around late 60s and early 70s references to the war in Vietnam as well as Angeleno Chicano subculture. The releases seen here are the LA Venganza Es Dulce ("Revenge is Sweet"), Selvaggio Nelle Strade ("Wild in the Streets"), Vietnam Tea Party and ‘Nam Magazine. The last two offerings are both printed on custom tees with a deliberate vintage treatment to create a soft and comfortable garment. Look for these to hit select FUCT dealers.
KIKS TYO has just released their "What The KIKS" t-shirt to compliment the recent release of the Nike SB Dunk Low "What The Dunks". The t-shirt integrates direct references from the What The Dunks to recreate the body of each letter. The back of the shirt is printed with the tagline "WHAT THE KIKS!?". Available now at the KIKS TYO international webshop. A select group of international retailers were also provided with no more then 10 pieces and include Solebox, Patta, Fatlace, Qubic, Espionage, Sole What?, Beetle Spoke, LTD EDT, Attitude, Gallery and Angry Daves. Only 200 shirts were printed.
Manhattan Portage has had a long and storied past since 1980 with many innovative features which have integrated itself into the urban bag scene such as single strapped Cordura bags and durable Delrin buckles. Their everyday urban relevance has led to a collaboration with XLarge on their 1610 messenger bag. Integral features include the use of Cordura materials and entirely waterproof inner and 3M accents. Japanese snowboard apparel brand AFDIcegear recently collaborated with label Stüssy to produce a limited run of Gore-Tex Vehicle jackets. The Gore-Tex body is complimented by subtle features such as 3M logos on the sleeve and front. Four different colors are available in black, blue, neon green and neon orange. Available now at Stüssy with a price tag of ¥54,600 (approximately $485 USD).
