Penfield was first established in Massachusetts, USA back in 1975 and since then have built a name for itself for creating high quality down-filled jackets. This Fall/Winter 2007 season, they have made a strong push in releasing jackets with independent companies like DPM. Now, Penfield has created two exclusive jackets which are only available at The-Glade. The two styles include the Novi down jacket and the Rockford. The Rockford gets its inspiration from classic western shirts while the Novi is more of a heavy duty down jacket with a slimmer fitting. Available now at The-Glade.
Estevan Oriol originally began his career in the entertainment industry in the late 1980s. It was during this period that he made contacts which allowed him to adequately express his vivid range of emotions and experiences. His ability to capture the absolute trueness of the situation made him a sought after commodity in urban and hip-hop scene. Aside from his work as a photographer, Oriol’s other exploits includes Joker Brand Clothing and the direction of music videos.
This 2007 Fall/Winter Collection created in cooperation with Upper Playground features some of Oriol’s classic and distinct imagery. Hong Kong label Fingercroxx teamed up with Carhartt to produce a series of pieces set to release later this month. The theme for this collection pays homage to the mysterious legend of Bigfoot. This is Fingercroxx’s first collaboration with Carhartt. This release will include a series of re-branded tees and hoodies among other things and will debut on November 9th.

Last week, artist Mode 2 opened up his latest exhibition at the DPMHI gallery in London. The Party & Bullshit showcase offered attendees Mode 2’s perspective and reflection on his life. Mode 2’s latest print was also made avaialble. Limited to 200 works, the print as well as t-shirts are currently available for sale at the DPMHI gallery and online. The exhibition wraps up on November 17th.
Japanese label Rebirth originally began in 2000 and based itself along the lines of regeneration. Much of their designs focus on colors, details and unique shapes to create an authentic and distinct product. Their latest release features a backpack created using ballistic nylon and a leather bottom. The bag also comprises of 5 pockets including a laptop storage compartment. Available now at Lump.
