The right side of the jacket belongs to “Hogtown’s” GDFT and features the Empire State Building and CN Tower (Canada’s and NYC’s tallest buildings) patched onto the sleeve. The left side of the varsity is ABSD’s and features “NYC” within a maple leaf, along with the “Rotten Apple” nickname embroidered by the cuff. Claw Money x Nike Vandal Hi
Footwear

Claw Money x Nike Vandal Hi

Queens, New York graffiti artist turned fashion designer Claw Money was the mastermind behind the very first womens Hyperstrike Tier 0 release earlier this year with the release of the Claw Money x Nike Blazer. A follow-up to the Blazer has come in the form of Claw Money’s personal high top of choice, the Vandal Hi. She first fell in love with the Vandal Hi over ten years ago and has been a collector ever since. Her Vandal Hi features a purposely deconstructed upper due to the removal of the foam within the upper. The desired effect was to create a slouchy silhouette free to take on any shape it desired. The reflective peacock feathers were a “couture” touch to draw attention much like the birds they were inspired by. The package is completed with the use of old school fatty laces.

Alife x Asics Gel Lyte III

Although the runner shoe silhouette of the Alife x New Balance 576 didn’t pan out, this unworldly concept with Asics did materialize with the use of the Gel Lyte III running shoe. This creation derives its inspiration from a Godzilla/reptile theme which is definitely one of the more literal sneakerfications of any creature themed sneaker we’ve ever seen. The toe box features a scaly print while the midsole is designed to represent the teeth. The hanging eye accessories seals the deal. Look for these to release on Monday, October 15th exclusively at Alife locations. Price is set at $200 USD. Image: Complex
