Created almost 10 years ago, Japanese footwear designers Rhythm has established themselves as purveyors of simple, basic and original shoes. Many of their designs are devoid of any branding and logos. The theme for the 2007 Autumn/Winter Collection follows a B.M.W. (Black, Mix and White) path. The result is a series of easy to wear designs. Rhythm’s previous collaborations have included the likes of Freak’s Store, Isetan and Edifice.
Here’s a preview of the latest pieces from Japanese punk themed label Devilock which is set to arrive at Eproze. The two t-shirt designs are created as part of an anniversary collection to celebrate Zozotown sub-store Eproze’s seven year existence. Queens, New York graffiti artist turned fashion designer Claw Money was the mastermind behind the very first womens Hyperstrike Tier 0 release earlier this year with the release of the Claw Money x Nike Blazer. A follow-up to the Blazer has come in the form of Claw Money’s personal high top of choice, the Vandal Hi. She first fell in love with the Vandal Hi over ten years ago and has been a collector ever since.
Her Vandal Hi features a purposely deconstructed upper due to the removal of the foam within the upper. The desired effect was to create a slouchy silhouette free to take on any shape it desired. The reflective peacock feathers were a “couture” touch to draw attention much like the birds they were inspired by. The package is completed with the use of old school fatty laces.
