By now, you’ve seen Jeff Staple’s design as part of the Timberland Boroughs project, but what you may not have been clued in on, is that there’s a second layer to the boot once the plaid flannel covering is stripped. Our good friends at Complex actually had the heart to cut away at the top layer, displaying a checkerboard leather boot. These will drop on January 26th, so keep an eye out for them.

We previously reported about the Comme des Garcons Oswald t-shirt and to elaborate on that here is more info on this upcoming project. Dover Street Market will have a Comme des Garcons structure located in the lobby accessed via left entrance of the store called the HUT BOX. HUT BOX is a kiosk-like structure designed by Rei Kawakubo. It will sell perennial Comme des Garcons items like PLAY, wallets and perfume as well as event related, special edition products. A similar Red Box structure will be at the Comme des Garcons store in Paris and for both launches they will introduce Oswald the Rabbit products. There will be five t-shirts and two shirts within different lines and also wallets. A few interesting facts are that Comme des Garcons is the first company allowed to use this Oswald character and Oswald is one year older than the ever popular Mickey Mouse.
The Dover Street Market HUT BOX will be launched on the 20th January 2007.

DQM, Huf, Kicks/Hi and Vans have come together for an incredible collaboration project. This project will probably be talked about for quite sometime as more sneakers are gradually being released. Each store has designed a Vans chukka boot and I must say all of them definitely represents their own style. There will also be a Half Cab, an Authentic, and an Era in this project following the Chukka release and the Chukkas are set a reasonable $95. There is still some wait as the Chukkas will release on March 1st, so check out the pictures for now and think about which ones to pick up.

Let go my Eggo! Here are some new items from BBC and they are once again using the waffle pattern. Instead of using it for a hoody this time, they have used it for a t-shirt. Just by looking at the t-shirt makes me hungry, really makes me want to go buy some Eggo, smart. Other new items include a black baseball cap featuring the Ice Cream logo in both white and cream.

The Teriyaki boyz which is known for being all “baped out” in their videos is at it again. They have hooked up with hip hop superstar Kanye West to produce the new song and music video “I Still Love H.E.R.”. Of course, a Teriyaki boyz music video wouldn’t be complete without Nigo from A Bathing Ape standing in the background and doing nothing. You can check out this Bape commercial on the video shown above.

Bape seems to have dropped a few new reversible jackets from both their Bape and Baby Milo lines recently, which features an all over Bape camo print or an all over Baby Milo print.
