From October 5 through the 29th, the Compound Gallery will exhibit the works of Dave White. It will be his first show ever in the North West area. Also on October 7, Dave White will premier his signature clothing line, so make sure to mark that date as well.
Katsu Tanaka, Compound’s owner, feels that this will be one of the gallery’s larger shows this year, “Dave White is such an influencial artist, it’s an amazing honor to have him showing here with us. He is currently working on a new series of works just for this exhibition that will be unveiled at the show.”
The artist reception will be held at 7:00pm on October 5. There will be a meet-and-greet and live signing with the artist. This is a must see for all sneaker, art, and street culture fans.

The swiss brand +41 has teamed up with Nike iD to create a series of Air Max 87 iDs. It seems like +41 did some additional customizing by adding the eyes logo on the tag and on the insole. The shoes are limited to 41 pairs and were released at the store Thomas iPunkt based in Hamburg, Germany. If you’re in town, head over there and also check out the +41 clothing exhibition. We will provide you with a feature about the installation in the next days.
