June 13th is a collaboration project between Hiroki Nakamura of Visvim, Jose Parla, and Dr. Romanelli, of which we’ve spoken on previously.
This is the latest photo of the June 13th Visvim FBT, with the colored leather patchwork skirt by Dr. Romanelli complete. Jose Parla will now be hand painting the skirts one-by-one, out in LA. The attention to detail on these shoes is unparalled – check out that “XIII” hole pattern on the toebed!
The June 13th exhibition will open on June 13th at 181 Martel in Los Angeles.

Following up on the success of his Smorkin Labbit and Smorkin Dunny characters, Frank Kozik has released 17 new vinyl figures packaged in a blind box collection. As Kid Robot says: “In the world of Frank Kozik, everything “smorks.”

For their 3rd artist collaboration of 2006, Mekanism invited German artist Katharina Grosse to create not one, but 100 limited-edition skateboards. The decks are individually painted with a spray gun, making each skateboard a unique, original piece of art.
Several of the boards are now available at Je Reve Que Je Dors.
