Nike, W+K, Juxtapoz, UNKL brand and Compound brings you Maschinen Krieger – The Art of Kow Yokoyama. This exhibition will take place at Compound Gallery between May 4th – 29th. The opening reception is on May 4th at 7:30 PM with the signing party on May 5th at 8:00 PM.
For over 2 decades Kow Yokoyama has been creating the universe of Maschinen Krieger. With a cultish following of model builders and sci-fi enthusiasts Mr. Yokoyama’s work has in recent years emerged into the mainstream and with companies like KUBRICK collaborating with Yokoyama his popularity has been ratified. This will be his first visit to the United States. The show will consist of original drawings and digital paintings as well as an exhibition of models lent to Compound Gallery by devoted collectors and model builders.

Here is a look at two more colorways for the Reebok Ice Cream Board Flips which will be coming out late this summer. Previous pictures of these general release skate shoes can be seen here. But don’t let the words “general release” fool you because with the Ice Cream name attached to the shoes, these might sell like Ice Cream on a hot day. Also, they will only cost $80 USD which is considered relatively cheap in today’s market where everything is “limited”.

Every summer, Visvim starts bringing out their slipper model, the Christo, and this summer is no different. Their latest collaboration is with Mastermind Japan on a pair of black Christos that feature a skull on the upper. This sexy pair of slippers does not come cheap though as it’s available on Concept Shop for $471 USD (Of course this is not the original price but a marked up price).

Levi’s Japan has been working with Fragment for quite some time. Here is one of their collaborations, the 2nd Generation Crash Denims. According to Concept Shop, only 41 pairs were produced.
