Beaverton, OR – Nike shows its passion for the beautiful game with a tribute book celebrating brilliant football from around the world. ‘From Street to Stadium’ shows the deep cultural roots of the game by bringing creative minds and players together to express their shared passion. Each contribution is a unique view on the game and its players, from the local heroes to the national heroes in Berlin.
The National Team Bearbrick collection is one of the contributions Nike and Medicom joined forces to create for Joga Bonito. Bearbrick figurines were fashioned in 8 National Team uniforms that Nike sponsors: Australia, Brasil, Croatia, Holland, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, and USA.
Bearbricks as football heroes in Nike’s animated Bearbrick short film.
The stardom of the Bearbricks continues. With the 10 countries they now represent including Russia and Turkey, the characters decorating the shelves of toy collectors and soccer fans alike will now star as national heroes in their first animated short film. As from now, their football moves will be seen in action at the Bearbrick national team photo shoot, followed by their opening match on the Berlin football pitch. The newest New Era caps by Supreme are now available to be viewed at Apollo NYC. The two models, the ‘First Shall Be Last’ and the ‘Never Rat’, are both designed very well nicely with embroidery all over the caps. My guess is that these are probably sold out in Supreme stores by now but if they arn’t, consider picking up one of these high quality caps.

The Reebok Kolors series are now available at Bodega, the brand new store in Boston. The RBK Kolors seems to be targeted to consumers who desire sneakers with bright colorways that we’re seeing a lot of nowadays. In addition, matching caps will be released along side each sneaker. The first series has already been released on May 1st. The next and subsequent released will be on July 1st, September 1st and November 1st. Personally, I like the caps more than the sneakers themselves but nevertheless, it’s a step forward for Reebok into the ‘sneaker game’.
