When people mention the name Ferrari, most will start thinking of elegant, luxurious, high performance cars, but for the first time ever the Ferrari name will be stirring up another form of your senses instead; your hearing. By collaborating with Ferrari, David Weiner has constructed the ART.ENGINE that can be connected wirelessly or via RCA inputs. Its primary signal input is wireless streaming of music files or radio via iTunes running on a computer with wireless functionality. It can also be used with conventional line level sources such as CD players, tuners and iPods. Now as you could imagine having the Ferrari Stamp of approval is no easy task, and this limited edition sound system comes with a hefty price tag of $20,000 and is limited to just 1000 Units. The “Letters First” event took place late last month with exhibitions from artists such as Venem Fate, Mr. Cartoon. Jose Parla, Ewok, Barry Mcgee, Shepard Fairey, Haze, Slick, and a whole lot more. As you can tell from the list, this was a jam packed exhibit with some of the greatest artists in the world.
