lebron is probably the only player that can be overrated and still be one of the top 3 players in the nba. all things considered.

"king" james?

witness...whut?

the disappearing act he pulls every post season.

and i like lebron as a ball player. he's just young dude that's made some ill advised decisions. he also has no humility. at all.

I'm not really even a Lebron fan, but even I can admit that he's the best player in the league. He's rated just fine.

However, FUCKING Russell Westbrook is beyond overrated to me. A more reckless Drose is what I see in him. And that's not good at all

bron aint overrated
TD ain't overrated

overrated -derrick rose ,lamar odom ,andrew bynum ,amare stoudemire (pre melo trade)
underrated - jeremy lin , nick young, stephen curry,

how the fuck is odom overrated? he's a bench player who averaged almost 15 pts a game and almost 9 rebounds last year.

as long as people try to put kobe in a top 5 goat list he will be overrated. he got 3 of his rings because of shaq.

derrick rose overrated? carried chicago to the east finals and he's overrated? stop huffin.

westbrook is overrated but has potential.

durant is underrated.

dont think brooke lopez is underrated he doesn't pull down enough rebounds as he should for his size, but he's probably one of the better scoring centers next to dwight howard

lol that's only because he's our only option at scoring. Once Brooks breaks, you'll see Lopez ppg decline.

nice try. let's look at the facts. without a doubt, shaq was the man. but to say kobe got those 3 solely bc of shaq is just stupid. read this. . let it sink in, then read it again.

PLAYOFF AVERAGES for Kobe Bryant during the 3-peat:

'00: 21.1 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 4.4 apg, 1.5 spg
'01: 29.4 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 6.1 apg, 1.6 spg
'02: 26.6 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 4.6 apg, 1.5 spg

lol @ people calling Monta Ellis underrated, hes a fun and explosive player, but it's not hard to average ~20+ point per night if you average 20 FGA per night, same shit with Kobe.

And how could people call Amare, Nash, D-Williams and Randolph underrated? These guy were all on the all-star team on one point in these last couple seasons, so obviously people see that they're good.

Underrated: Igoudala, a constant tripple-double threat, only need to improve his shooting. Arron Afflalo and Al Jefferson are also too underrated.

shaq led them to that 3peat. no shaq, no rings. simple as that. to think otherwise is foolish.

since then kobe has been overrated. he wasn't dominant during the other two chip teams he was on.

if people (kobe fanatics) didn't act like he was the second coming he wouldn't be so overrated.

he wasn't dominant in '09 and '10? oh you're one of those. if ppl like you, didn't have negative associations with him regardless of what he does, then you truly know what he's about. ask anyone, absolutely anyone who is unbiased. ask them if kobe bryant is the best player in the nba since mj, i'm sure majority will answer yes.

you say no shaq, no rings as if kobe was a bench player during the 3-peat. look at those numbers, not good enough for you? watch what he actually did during all of those games.

Come on those are like Scottie Pippen numbers (except in 01) and its easy to put up those numbers when you have Shaq in is prime on your side. Put any decent SG on that team and they'd have similar numbers and get a title. Must've been real easy especially for someone as good as Kobe to score with Shaq drawing all the defense. Defense mustve been real easy also. Shaq was still the best player in the World at that time and Kobe was Pippen to him.

Like everyone says NO SHAQ=NO RINGS. It would've been nice to see Kobe work his way to his first title solo like the other greats have. Now we never know if he had it in him to win 5 on his owncool
