I don't know what part of NYC you'd see someone dressed like this but I've been living here for awhile and I've only seen it like 2 or 3 times out of the thousands and thousands of people who have passed before my eyes so I wouldn't say this represents NYC.
Haven't been to ny in quite some time so I haven't seen anyone in person with a fit like this, but I would laugh in homeboys face if I ever see a fit like this in person.
