Distract from what?

I believe these messages and stories they put on the news is to distract people and scare people. distracts them from their ability to find self peace and self enlightenment. Also these stories i believe are made to divide people, i really do. "Black people" will see and hear this story and it will spark hated towards the "white people." More so dividing and keeping people from becoming brother and sisters in this world.
It also puts fear in people. You don't know how many times my mother has told me not to wear a hoodie at night because she is afraid so "white man" will shoot me because i will look suspicious, because of that zimmeran story.
Also i believe the mass media looks for the most "entertaining" story to put out to shock people and have them think to themselves "why, thats soooo horrible." If you gonna put these type of stories out please put all of them out not just the most "entertaining" one.
this is a sad thing but its also a physiological propaganda marketing tool.
