Their unemployment ratings are worse than any other major country. They barley work throughout the year, and also they don't have an adequate military to protect their country. We have the strongest military in the world, and also have the best higher learning education systems. You should be grateful to be in America, cause I guarantee you that people in foreign countries would kill there dog to be in this country lol.

Kill there dog? How hard is it to come to America from France get a job and apply for citizenship.

I doubt that everyone in France,Britain,Canada, etc are dying to live in America. Thats some shit that the media makes people think. And the reason America has such a strong military is cause we always starting shit so weed to fight. And American education is one of the worst in the world when compared to other large industrial countries. So wtf are you talking about?

yeah im english and live in france, and i have to say that people really aint that fascinated by the states over here. i mean theres obviously shitloads of cultural influence but no one really talks about going to the usa, even the american people i know (quite a few) would rather go to university in the u.k, and in fact most of them in my english class are going to england

I agree that the media has a lot to do with giving people from outside the US a perception of awe and fascination. But think about it, how many of the people immigrating to the states are happy? I'm talking people that came from having a comfortable life in their own country to going to the states working two jobs, etc etc. No shots btw

Its funny tho because i dont think america should become a totally socialist country either. I think that would kill peoples drive to do anything. Why would anyone go out and work to be taxed like 60 percent to pay for some bum to sit home all day and beneift from that. So there is a valid point on both sides but i do think we should have free healthcare and at least a free state college education. All colleges shouldnt be free tho it would decrease the level of excellence of some schools i think.

the us consumer is responsible for much of the massive international growth, owing to the ridiculous appetite for discretionary spending items.

if you take that away, i.e. reinvest it through taxes into education and whatnot, you lose a tremendous source of capital internationally, which in turn affects domestic conditions as well.

sure, from a normative perspective i would love not to be paying like 40k a year to go to college or like 60k a year to go to law school, but the fact is that the system is so rooted in path dependency that it won't change and probably can't, unless there's a new rise in spending that can be found elsewhere.

it won't be found in asia, where saving rates are insanely high and growth doesn't seem to be high enough anywhere else such that a substitute population can replace the US consumer and allow for social reform in our country.

Well I think one quick reason...

compare the United State to France or the UK. much bigger therefore higher populate. free education and healthcare is more difficult.

mo money mo problems,.

yeah we do get health care for free, but the National Health Service is shit anyway.

and yeah people do get paid to go to collage here - 30 gbp max (depending on parents income)

HOWEVER - you get to have a pimp for a president, we get an ugly scottish prick that looks like he's had a stroke.

i think we're on par

Since we are talking about tax/countries and so forth, Why in Canada and the U.S is the tax not included in the item like VAT in the UK and much of Europe?

did you really JUST learn this? how old are you?

socialism is such a utopian ideal. theoretically its fuckin wonderful. i would love to have free healthcare and shit. but the only way it would work is if we wipe out americans all together and start from the ground up. were so programmed to be greedy and selfish (but i do believe that thats the nature of the human race, it can be reversed) that it will NEVER EVER work here.

Did yall know people in France dont pay for college education? That shit is given to them if they want to go? Yea they have higher taxes but its still a lot cheeper than what we in America pay. Also in Britain they have free health care and government funded programs that afford them a higher level of life than in America. WTF is this shit yo? I've been under the impression the American way is the best but we fucking suck. I was under the impression that Canadians,French,British, etc people were faggots cause of what I've been told. But once you look into they are better off than Americans. They are just like us,just dont have the debts. I'm fucking 19 and already 22,000 dollars in debt cause of college. This shit is not cool yo. Why dont we have shit like that in America?

if you are 22,000 dollars in debt, the last thing you should be doing is posting on hypebeast asking wtf is up. matter of fact...every time you type the url into your browser, it slowly takes money away from you, the equivalent of one supreme tee. its a proven fact.

The other week, during university intramural basketball, my buddy fucked up his knee real bad. His left knee dislocated and he tore his ACL, MCL and PCL. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance, stayed at the hospital for 5 days before having intensive surgery to reconstruct his left knee. Now he's out of the hospital on crutches with some huge, futuristic looking knee brace.

He only had to pay for the ambulance...like $45 or something. lol
And he gets free physiotherapy twice a week for at least a month I believe.

Funny part is that he just got his Canadian citizenship just a month before his injury...if not he would be paying like $3000+ he said suprised
