the whole point of it is to play co-op with friends. i also hear there's a lot of new maps on the way.

i still went with RE5 though, the fanboy in me won. i'll probably pick this up when price drops to $30-40 along with stoked

Steam is def. the way to go. Just wait till L4d release the new content, the game is sure to go on sale, like it had before, i think it was $29 a while back.
