Shout outs to dude who said La haine, great movie. I think as far as an overall 100% experience of a hood movie my favorite is Belly.

Doesn't get much better than scarface, menace, or boyz in the hood. Fresh is dope too, just realized Giancarlo Esposito plays a drug dealer in that movie just like in Breaking Bad. 

You dudes sleeping on those old gangster films tho, like Once Upon a Time in America and Public Enemy.
