just wonderin how much the import charges would be if i buy from karmaloop. i'm looking at making around $300-400 in purchases, mostly Ts and a few sweaters and jeans. if anyone has imported from them before, i'd appreciate some help.

probably around 50 dollars,.

I had a 140 dollar purchase and duty was 25 dollars.

If you are ordering from canada there are better sites that will ship the item as a gift with a low declared value (so you dont get charged duty) just email them before you order.

I dont reccomend KARMALOOP for canadian orders,. the duty will rape you.

there's a list of stores that are canadian based / canadian friendly....if you do a search
honestly, even though its a gimmick to get you to buy things, usually those sites that are like "free shipping over $100" are always a good bet, cause you save a lot on shipping that way. Plus most sites ship USPS Air, so you're a lot less likely to pay duties that way.
Stay away from those sites that use the couriers

I just ordered 2 pairs of jeans from Karmaloop, $150 total, the duty was $45.

They sent me the wrong size, now I gotta send em back. Won't be fucking with them no more.

$10.41 customs for an 18-dollar shirt on sale. Shit.

Also depends on which shipping company they use.
If its UPS expect some outrages "handling and brokage" fees.
As well DHL and FED EX can also be bad , they usually send you
the invoice a few weeks later. UPS on the other hand is COD!

Good luck , customs is on high alert due to the dollar.
