mastermind JAPAN and Vans Tease Two New Collaborative Silhouettes

In 2011, we saw a successful Vans and mastermind JAPAN Sk8-Hi collaboration. A good five years down the line, the collaborative duo are proven to be working on a powerful followup — taking to Instagram to preview both pairs. One appears to be a low-top silhouette, with a translucent outsole over Vans’ signature black and white check patterning. The other revisits the 2011 silhouette, with a side-by-side comparison shown below. This time around, mastermind JAPAN has opted for a full leather upper, accented by contrasting white stitching. A release date is yet to be announced, however “#earlysummer” was one of the captions posted on Instagram. Stay tuned for news on the official launch.
