Giovanni James has been keeping it busy the last couple months, releasing catchy tunes such as “WHATCHU WANT” and “Shame On You.” Today, the NYC-based artist brings forth the visual translation for the latter. In a conversation with The FADER, James states:

“Plenty of people in the world need shaming right now. I have my personal reasons for writing it, but would rather let the listeners’ own life narratives dictate the meaning for them. That’s the beauty of art—it has the ability to be interpreted on many levels depending on how it hits you.”

Watch the energetic clip above and be on the lookout for more music from this talented artist to drop later this year.
