Carhartt WIP's 2016 Spring/Summer Collection Is All About Attitude in the Concrete Jungle
The Michiganian heritage brand pays homage to its hometown.

Workwear stalwart Carhartt’s Work In Progress imprint has always sought out to find the middle ground between the company’s reputation for durable and wearable goods with streetwear sensibility, and its 2016 spring/summer collection does so by re-tooling classic pieces and imbuing them with attitude — be it camouflage pants or a Canadian tuxedo. Athletic symbols and typography are paired with bold textiles for timeless sartorial appeal. The company also drew inspiration from its roots in Detroit by incorporating the city’s 313 area code into several designs. The lookbook visuals also incorporate sunglasses, Wallabee boots, and a branded folding chair for all your tailgating needs.
