For almost a year, Deadmau5 and the Walt Disney Corporation have been going through a legal dispute over the mouse headwear that the Canadian producer wears on stage to perform, after he had sought to register its silhouette with the US patent and trademark office. The good news is that it has been resolved by both parties; a spokesperson for Deadmau5 told The Hollywood Reporter that “Disney and Deadmau5 have amicably resolved their dispute.” No further detail is currently revealed, but Disney is expected to withdraw its claims against the producer.
