Justin Bieber Working With Kanye West & Rick Rubin For New Album

In a new interview with USA Today, Justin Bieber has revealed that he’s working with Kanye West and Rick Rubin for his next album. Speaking to Marco della Cava, Bieber states plainly that he’s “working with Kanye and Rick.” Bieber also calls the sound of his next project “different” and a “grown-up version” of himself, while remarking that he believes his next full-length will “shock” listeners. While one might not exactly associate the man behind the sound of albums from Slayer and an artist like Kanye West with the music of Justin Bieber, keep in mind that Bieber and Kanye appear to be friends and that Kanye and Raekwon jumped on a Justin Bieber remix a while back, which is definitely a stranger mix than Kanye, Bieber and Rubin. Plus, working with Kanye and Rick Rubin will probably attract an entirely different market of listeners for Justin’s music.
