Daughter - Doing The Right Thing
A story about dementia.
It’s been rather quiet around Daughter lately but things are about to take on speed as they are prepping their second LP Not To Disappear, which is set to hit shelves in January. Accompanying this announcement, the English indie folk outfit shares a first visual impression in the shape of the music video for the new album’s first single “Doing The Right Thing.” The clip touches on the subject of dementia involving aging, loneliness, and time. The is the first in a series created by Iain Forsyth & Jane Pollard on the effects of the disease, so please notice that you’re in for a rather sad six minutes. Not To Disappear arrives January 15 via 4AD/Glassnote and can be pre-ordered on iTunes.
