Financial news aggregator Forbes has just shared its list of highest-earning DJs in 2015, year end in August. As electronic music continues its surge into mainstream radio, it’s no surprise to see cash flowing in its reciprocal direction. However, its pace may be slowing down, as statistics shows the 108% increase from 2012 to 2013 has slowed to a mere 2.5% from 2014 to 2015. This year’s list sees the chart-topping “Summer” producer Calvin Harris atop the list for the third year in a row with $66 million USD, a figure consistent with his earnings last year. The Scot’s income can be attributed to his seven-figure deal with Giorgio Armani, Las Vegas residencies, as well as his number one dance album, Motion. Other artists on the list include the Jack Ü members and label owners Skrillex and Diplo, ranked fourth and ninth respectively. Take a look at the list below.
1. Calvin Harris (Scotland) – $66 million
2. David Guetta (France) – $37 million
3. Tiësto (Netherlands) – $36 million
4 & 5. Skrillex & Steve Aoki (U.S.A.) — $24 million
6. Avicii (Sweden) — $19 million
7. Kaskade (U.S.A.) — $18 million
8 & 9. Martin Garrix (Netherlands) & Zedd (Russia/Germany) – $17 million
10. Afrojack (Netherlands) — $16 million
11 & 12. Deadmau5 (Canada) & Diplo (U.S.A.) – $15 million
