The Knocks featuring Fetty Wap & Powers - Classic (Remix)

Releasing the track way back last year, The Knocks have come through with a Fetty Wap assisted re-work of their electro-dance anthem “Classic,” also featuring vocals from Powers. Making its debut on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show, the unlikely pairing of the New Jersey rapper’s unique vocal versing and The Knock’s nu-disco flair makes for an interesting, all-summer listen. On the collaboration, the New York duo commented:

“We wanted someone to give this song new life for this summer. We find Fetty to be one of the more exciting new voices. His sense of melody and harmony is really amazing, and something about his tone just really feels fresh to us. We also love that he’s putting the Northeast back on the map!”

Set to release their debut album later in Fall, you can taken a listen of the track above ahead of their headline show at Webster Hall in New York on November 20.
