Chance the Rapper is Organizing a Free Festival for Chicago

All eyes are on Chance the Rapper right now and he seems to be one of the hardest working Chicago

All eyes are on Chance the Rapper right now and he seems to be one of the hardest working Chicago rappers in the game. Surf was the first album to be available on iTunes for free, many, many people across the globe have downloaded and enjoyed his latest project, he’s involved in all sorts of collaborative efforts and initiatives, and Kanye West even showed up for one of his events. Now, Chance is planning to give back even more and do something fun and accessible for his city. On June 24, the inaugural Teens in the Park festival will take place at Chicago’s Northerly Island, with Chance serving as the individual responsible for its lineup and some of its organization. The lineup will feature The Social Experiment’s Donnie Trumpet – close friend and collaborator of Chance — and an array of hometown heroes and up-and-coming Chicago talents. Teens in the Park will also feature activity tents hosted by organizations such as Kanye West’s Donda’s House and The Art Institute, and free entry will be provided to anyone between the ages of 13 and 24. For more information, check out the festival’s official website.
