After launching its own e-commerce site in the U.S. just last year, fashion giant H&M has followed suit by launching an American web store for its upscale COS label. First reported last year by The Wall Street Journal, COS’s U.S. debut positions H&M to compete with American labels like J.Crew – a brand whose prices are in the same ballpark and one who, like COS, tends to eschew more trendy affair in favor of tried-and-true classics and wardrobe staples. COS’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection is now available online. The label is also celebrating the e-commerce launch by offering free shipping on all orders through June 30.
