French street artist and “photograffeur” JR ventured to Baden-Baden’s Museum Frieder Burda for his latest exhibition. While in the city, JR took the chance to continue his “UNFRAMED” project, where he visited local residents who offered archival photos for him to amplify and paste up. In this particular segment, JR explores the city’s own heritage and its links with France during World War II, transforming the facades of the city’s infrastructure with impactful black and white imagery. Executed with signature JR style, this latest collection further showcase the TED award-winning artist’s acute disposition within the street art realm.
