Shifting its focus from in-game performance to post-game recovery, Nike‘s new Pro Combat Recovery HyperTight promises to be the next piece of the puzzle in terms of keeping exhausted athletes fresh before their next game. The HyperTight gets its name from the Graduated Compression system that starts the loosest at the thighs and finishes the tightest at the ankles. This compression is designed to keep swelling down in the legs to hasten recovery. On the comfort side, the tights are made of Nike’s Dri-FIT fabric to ensure optimal cooling. It was designed through Nike Sport Research Lab and its work with coaches, physiologists and athletes including LeBron James, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Jon Jones, Matt Kemp and Colin Kaepernick. The tights will be available at Nike’s online store and select retail locations globally starting February 3.
