Gaming enthusiasts rejoice! After rampant speculation and rumors circling the latest from Nintendo, an official release date and pricing has been made available for the Wii U. Releasing in the U.S. on November 18 and Europe on November 30, the Wii U will come in a $299 USD basic version in white with 8GB of on-board storage, and a 32GB deluxe model in black for $349 USD. Hailed for being able to remove the traditional barriers between you, your games, and your TV by creating a second window into the video game world, it incorporates a 6.2-inch, 16:9 aspect ratio LCD touch screen, as well as traditional button controls and two analog sticks. After a lukewarm reception to their 3DS, Nintendo is banking on the Wii U as being the wave of the future.
