The latest of The Avant/Garde Diaries profiles Rick Genest, aka Zombie Boy, in an intimate video interview aptly entitled “Embrace Everything That Is Different.” The Canadian artist and fashion model famous for his corpse-like full-bodied tattoos talks about life, death, struggling with a brain tumor, his own traveling freak show, and the journey that has led him to the catwalks of Thierry Mugler. This video interview and photoshoot was taken during his recent winter stay in Berlin by German photographer Nadine Elfenbein.
